About Department

The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETC) was established in the year 2009. The Department of ETC offers B.E. programme (4years) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Since the inception, the Department offers wide range of courses which address almost the entire arena covering VLSI, Microwave engineering, Communication, linear electronics, signal processing to mention a few. The department aims to create competent Electronics and Telecommunication engineers to serve the needs of modern advance technology and the nation as a whole. To compete these the department has well-equipped laboratories like Electronics Device lab, analog electronics lab, VLSI lab, Microprocessor, Embedded system lab, Optical Communication lab, Communication lab, measurement lab mentioning a few with various modern software’s and instruments. Keeping in mind of day to day advancement in electronics technology, the syllabus of the programme has been updated with new credit system (Credit Based Assessment System) following the model syllabus provided by AICTE. Students of ETC do their internship training at different organizations like BSNL, OIL, ONGC,NRL, in research labs, etc. Passed-out students have been successfully placed in different leading organizations like Mercedes Benz, Wipro, Zalonietc with some of the students have pursued higher studies in IITs, IIMs and in abroad.
